I have THREE (3) FOUR (I just found another one i am not retaking picture) fucking USB-C cables of various age, the newest one (on the left below) is not even 5month old. The two others are 3 years old.
None of them work. I can’t fucking charge my laptop which only has USB-C ports, and requires some minimum wattage to even register the fact it is being charged.
The USB-port on my phone is half broken, and only charges when he feels so, in a special position.
How fucking technologically hard it is to build a fucking working USB-C port and a cable in 2026
I d love so much to slowly strangle (with a cable) whoever produces this shit
mmmm… gonna say this is user error, or STUPIDLY cheap products.
I’m still using the same 3 pack of generic usb-c cables I ordered precovid… no rips, tears, they work
all my laptop chargers are still intact after 5 years.
the ONLY usb-c issue I have ever experienced, is dust in the female (phone) and I just cleaned it out and voila…back to new.
I HIGHLY recommend cleaning your phones usb-c port. guaranteed there is so much dust and lint pack in there the cables are not making a solid connection anymore. if you can’t lift your phone. y the cable (with USBC) it’s not connected properly.
Would you care to explain, in excruciating detail (if needed), how to clean a USBC port (ie female).
