Happened to me when I saw a book on the US site, I wasn’t able to see all reviews, but there was a button to sort-of “apply” to get approved for seeing all of them.
It took five days, then I got this email.
Interestingly, they’re not doing this on the European site, you can still see all reviews there.
EU laws probably prevent them from doing shady shit like this.
Hiding a review just makes me not want to buy it
Took some digging but holy shit yeah this is real
I posted a review of a rechargeable mountable lamp that didn’t work, wouldn’t charge. Popped it open because it was broke and I walked to figure out why.
Turns out the electronics caught fire and burnt out. The review was never authorized and never showed up in the site.
I hate Amazon so much, I cannot convince my wife to drop it.
