Would be neat if someone could lift that pattern from the image and make it into an actual fantasy map… I unfortunately do not have the talent for that, and I will not post an AI-slop attempt :)
Inkscape has a function called live trace that will identify the borders and make a series of vector objects. Then you can just delete the ones that you don’t want.
