  • This question is so fundamentally wrong, but such a good example of what is wrong with most people.

Most people don’t actually have an ethical system. They simply substitute tribal dynamics or what ‘feels’ right in the moment for ethics.

Loyalty, and most virtues, aren’t about what you get from them. Thinking of them in those terms is itself an example of the lack of any ethical system.

Loyalty, and most virtues, are about having a system of values that you think are right, and then living up to those values. Even when it is inconvenient. Especially when it is inconvenient.

If a system of beliefs, like religion, is something you espouse to believe in then you live those ideals. Otherwise you’re just there to feel like you belong in a group.

  • If men gave birth, then nothing else would be the same.

The systems of oppression that exist were created for a reason. Evil reasons, but reasons none the less. It’s not random.

There is a reason hunter/gatherer societies tend to be more egalitarian, and agricultural societies tend to be less egalitarian, and it isn’t because farming turns people evil and misogynistic.

Furthermore, abortion was largely accepted until increased birthrates were required for the needs of empire. Despite the arguments being religious in nature against abortion, the original drivers for outlawing it were non-religous.

  • You were literally proudly proclaiming how you would never care about any non-American life ever again to the point that when you reported me for calling you fascist, Jordan fucking Lund replied with ‘If the jackboot fits’.

I literally have you tagged as a Nazi because of this interaction.

You don’t hate fascism, you just don’t like being the marginalized party in fascism.

  • They literally elected a fucking Nazi Pope to help with the coverup and he tried to sabotage the pope after him.

Learn to read things you don’t agree with and fact check it, and learn to change your mind when you discover what you thought was wrong.

You need to do this, even by your own religion.

Unquestioning belief is not faith. It is fanaticism.
