Apart from the west ham part kids used to sing that about Michael Jackson at school when I was a kid.
Like Wallace and Gromit but instead of cheese it’s biscuits.

Cack. There’s a word I’ve not heard for a long time. Also not heard cackers for a long time.
Your privacy is of high monetary value to them.
This reminds me of that torture method from the olden days. Hungry rat in a bowl on a person’s skin/abdomen. It’s going to dig into the person.

2·29 days agoMy mum used to be an occupational therapist at a children’s development centre at the local hospital. A few times as a kid she took me there (can’t remember why, school closure or something) and it was great! All these cool toys and stuff I haven’t seen like triangular foam blocks and a sensory room which was chill. I was jealous of the kids who got to go there so much.
I’m not even that old and my left knee is knackered.
What was it previously? Concrete or painted a different colour? I don’t know much about it, only it’s in US movies all the time.

5·3 months agoTotally agree. I was talking about eating out. But you’re bang on. We hardly go out to eat anymore. Pre-covid it was normal we’d go out one a week. Not it’s only time when we’re away from home and want to treat ourselves.

1·3 months agoTotally agree. And when we’re feeling lazy we get some frozen, shove in the oven, type food. I know it’s not great but really it’s no different to fast food but cheaper.

1·3 months agoI had a McDonalds in Jakarta a few years back. It’s a very different experience. They seem to price themselves in the way StarBucks does, which is opposite to what I’m used to. I prefer the local food still though.
I didn’t try it but I also saw Burger King there has a rendang burger. I liked the idea of it.

7·3 months agoEverything did. I don’t know about where you are, but here the cost of going for food in a pub or restaurant is so expensive that McDonalds is still the cheapest option.
Episode 1 has a scene similar to this.

8·3 months agoTake them out of the boxes. It’ll be more fun too when needed.
I’m free to work 100% remote but I travel to our local site 2 days a week just to be seen and support if needed. I hardly use my car at all these days. I can cycle or walk to the office.
I use my ebike to drop my son at school, get up to the office, then back to school and wfh in the afternoon.
Ebikes really are the future of travel. I can’t achieve all of the above on my normal mountain bike in a sensible time frame and with luggage.
grill 'em, bake 'em, fry 'em, eat 'em
Never forget your daily splash test while in the shower.
I don’t think it’s just the US. Price of everything is going up everywhere.
