5·6 days agoLooks like an open admission that their products are representations of real places and people, which they’ve always historically dismissed as creative license. Lawsuits like these may become fair game :
I bet they only fit on doors that swing forward

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What are some small, everyday ways to become a kinder person?
7·11 days agoFor me recently, I had the realization that I had the possibility of being very gentle with someone who doesn’t know something (even the smallest thing!). As a kid I’ve had a few traumas related to being shamed/pointed at for not knowing something and the fear of asking stuff is still present today. So I do my best to ease that for other people

51·12 days agoProbably very mild, as I’ve done shrooms once, and I think I told that story before, but anyway :
One night in the old shared house I was staying at, having the apéro with a couple of flatmates, I was drinking from a beer can, and the meager 6 or 7 dried shriveled up shrooms I had had earlier started to take effect. It seems to have exacerbated a specific anxiety I was having, about accidentally swallowing some insect from a opened can. I looked at the can in my hand and sure enough some absurd chimaera between a winged insect (think butterfly) and a field mouse, was standing on the top, plunging a long-ass trunk (think hummingbird moth) into my beverage. I feel like I looked at that thing in disbelief for a couple seconds, then looked away and again at my can and it was gone. I still emptied the can in the grass

They’re just the nozzle, right? I’d say the body attached to it is the printer, and a good fiber diet is the filament

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•To all the men here, are y'all satisfied with the male friendships y'all have in life?
3·12 days agoI am lucky to have some of the best dudefriends I could imagine. Some are very open with talking emotions, some are more shy. Regardless, experience taught us the importance of supporting one another and that’s what we do. Btw, I just sent them a text over Signal this morning, recalling the dream I had just made : I was cooking a stew for the whole group and at some point I was feeling inspired and took a piss in it- insisting that it added to the flavor(???). They took me by the shoulders and said look we love you, but you have to start the stew over. I said ok fair. One of them responded with "way to make a “piss-too soup” (=pistou=pesto). Anyway
Yea but it hurts the capitalists for the sake of the example

yea some of us are really uncomfortable with the phone. It has no body, or limbs, or eyes, all of which are useful clues for us to interpret the intent of the speaker. Talking on the phone can be akin to reading the future in tea leaves

You guys have wild stories. I’ve had good medical care for the most part. Damn, so boring
