  • Great. Now how long until they try again? It’s so crazy how much they want it to work despite all the evidence proving that its going to be a bad idea and in the end cost more than the people you hired at the lowest cost possible. For a company that loves power its crazy to think they are just ok handing over a decent chunk of that power to another company that will dictate how much it costs and unlike employees that get no raises or maybe a dime, these AI contracts will absolutely have clauses were every year they will rise 5%. It’s not a hard decision here yet for some reason they really won’t drop it. If that wasn’t enough nobody likes talking to a bot! Your hurting your company every step of the way…

  • As someone close enough to 50 this would really freak me out if that was actually a thing. Personally I wouldnt even agree that 50 is that old either. Also what your saying is that basically nobody would have their parents in the later years of their life, hell the way times are changing i know a lot of people who have had kids over 35 so your saying their kids will lose their parents when they are like 10 years old. I still have my grandmother and its still amazing to see my parents, their siblings, and my grandmother which by your question would all be long dead. Also fyi none of them have anything awful health related yet either, hell my 87 year old grandmother still drinks some beers with us when we get together and loves a good IPA or stout.

Considering my life stopped getting better at 25 and I am in a financial mess right now, i am totally looking forward to retirement and my 60s to enjoy the last years of living and to finally stop working for the first time in my life since ive been 15… im looking forward to that.

  • It’s exactly what my father does for places. He can’t stand these fees and if whatever service he is paying has them then a check will be sent. He says it’s what hes uses to anyway since that is how he had done it most of his life.

I love that mentaility and wish I could do the same, but sadly I just want it to be known its paid right away and also since i live paycheck to paycheck waiting weeks on end for random checks to be cashed will be impossible for me to not accidentally use some of that money elsewhere.

  • I brought it day 1 on PS4 (it didn’t even release on the PS5 for a while after) and played it for like 2 days straight and barely looked online. I came to my own conclusion that it was awful and felt good knowing I wasnt alone once I did look. Sony then refunded everyone and I took it. Then sometime later that year or maybe the year after when it was at its lowest it was also selling for basically nothing and swooped it up for $5 bucks on PC. I didnt touch it for years and think I played it finally once it dropped the last big update which may have been 2024? It was a great game at this point and fully worth a regular price.

As for the Witcher 3 it was always a great game and as far as I saw they did everything right for that game. Its probably a top 3 all time game for me since idk if I ever felt so emmerssed into a game like this one did. Attention to story was and is still peak gaming.
