With these massive pumpkins (I live in farm country and we need hobbies too) the single plant takes up pretty much the whole field, and more problematically, drinks somewhere around 200 gallons of water a day once they get big. So it’s more a logistics problem really.
If I could ever justify throwing a couple grand (I can’t and won’t) I’d love to try growing one hydroponically with a swimming pool as a reservoir.
Sadly my state representative pretty much only posts on there and I feel like I can better tailor my complaints and insults towards him when he fucks up by reading his drivel
Could it be a symptom of everybody being broke af and not wanting to ask someone to work for exposure? Because a lot of artists are lucky enough to make enough money to cover their expenses for doing the art, let alone anything else.
I would love to see more collaborations and rejection of AI for everything but the tasks that are actually a decent use case (preliminary searches and compiling massive pools of data) and I think one of the best way to start is to just pay people a living wage.

I got all my cardboard for free just asking stores if I can take their boxes, small businesses especially are happy to get rid of boxes especially if they don’t have to cut them up
The best thing of having a machine shop and getting proficient with the machines is simultaneously having a god complex and imposter syndrome when you get to make cool stuff.
