Because non technical people don’t go by that definition. When a person says algorithm they either mean this or black magic machine learned model giving results based on a massive amounts of data. Not if else statements. I’ve said at the start that either everything is an algorithm or this argument is pointless. They continued arguing, so I assumed they weren’t saying: oh yes, this floor is made out of floor.

  • Why the fuck aren’t you all this upset and outraged about the AI tech overlords ruining the entire world

But we are? There have been working movements against data centers and siding with data centers costs politicians’ elections. Also vigilantes have been cutting down flock camera which use “AI” technology. Anything more than that is basically only starting a civil war, because data centers and technocrats are quite guarded.

Also one of the main reasons why we use fediverse is because we dislike technocrats and believe in free software as in freedom.

  • In my example I’ve said that would be a prejudice. It is still more common to talk about a teacher as a man unless their pronouns are known, but they don’t give a fuck when it happens. I got called by both feminine and masculine pronouns in legal paperwork; it’s not a big deal and that comes from someone with a social gender dysphoria.

Name, next referred to only as person. And then feminine suffixes in upcoming legal fluff, because person is always feminine. Or a prosecutor and the rest is instead masculine. It is truly at bottom of a barrel of social problems and would require an eradication of multiple languages as they/them becomes used around B2 level of english and even then it slips, because mother tongue is a mother tongue.

  • There can be multiple reasons:

    • Commenter just had a slip up and thought of it as a masculine profession which is fine. It does happen.
    • Commenter’s first language is not English. Czech for example doesn’t use they/them for a single person unless it is neo-pronouns. So instead we just gender based on word of a profession, which is 99% of the time masculine. Only exception that comes to mind is a nurse which translates to homonym of sister. There are also feminine suffixes for jobs but that is only used if you know that the person who works it uses feminine pronouns or if the field is heavily dominated by women but then it is a prejudice.

Why wouldnt he be able to dual stream and move his viewers over? Have exclusive other platform only

as I’ve said in a different comment:

The original comment condemns Hasan for using Twitch, which I am assuming was intended as bad for using at all.

Yes, he can dual stream if he wants to and should.

Addition after like 2 minutes after posting: I’ve noticed the one who responded was an original comment. My assumption of what you’ve said was then incorrect. In that case only thing I want to mention is that most leftists are still normal people who don’t spend their time boycotting every evil company. Should they? Yes. If we were to count only the most radical boycotters as leftists then our movement would shrink to less than Desktop Linux % presence.

Because he got banned from Twitter before Musk has bought it. The original comment condemns Hasan for using Twitch, which I am assuming was intended as bad for using at all. Your example is somebody who uses multiple platforms, which hasn’t cut off the part of his base that refuses to follow him to Truthsocial. It also has an advantage of moving his most loyal cultists to a different platform, where he can feed them propaganda without having to worry as much about scaring off potential moderate republicans. Oh and the chicken and an egg problem. Trump solved it by buying chickens and other power given to him by an insane amount of capital.
