2·3 days agoThis worst kind of meme, the kind we’ll never get away from because it’s not at all based in popularity but in record company contractual obligation.

2·3 days agoYup, but remember, “There are no gods here. Just those who pay for the privilege”.
You think we need AI for a car to do that?
I started playing music around the time my friends moved on to PS2 from PS1 and I didn’t have any bandwidth for anything else for years. Everyone my age has these memories and I have never played more than a couple of hours of PS2 in my life. I’m like Tony Hawk, AMIRITE?

Going in blind and meeting someone you want to talk with for two hours sounds like an absolute win.
Better to mock him for the terrible things he’s chosen to do than the thing he and others haven’t chosen but have to live with.
Probably wasn’t her ex at the time.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Do you have any funny NSFW/sexual experiences?
11·27 days agoI dated a co-worker and we would act very professionally in front of others… until the elevator doors closed where she would jump me for the 10 to 30 seconds we had in there.
One day the doors close, she jumps and wraps her arms around my neck, and we hear the sound of the doors start to open again because someone pushed the elevator call button before it properly left. I THREW her aside out of panic and she went flying into the opposite wall and recovered like she tripped just in time for the doors to open. We kept our shit together just long enough for the person to get off on the next floor and we both broke down laughing.
It became the thing she would joke about the most when she was trying to embarrass me a little; the time I launched her across an elevator.
That’s interesting. I think we should have 0 'Jeff Bezos’es in the solar system.

They probably intended it to be a centimetre but somewhere from concept to final print the squares ended up 1mm longer and wider than intended. Not really a problem as they figured teachers might need the extra space to use centimetre cubes to help with teaching but didn’t figure someone would bring a ruler along.
