Quarter is nothing! But i get it, US has mostly paper money. In Europe it’s usually 1 euro, or 2 euro.

In Europe you put a coin in to take the cart and get ir back when you lock it back in. Annoying, i know, but you can have a special token on your ring or keep a change in your car. But because of that, Carts are never a problem. Either people put it back, or some kids do it to get the coin. Either way, the car park is free of trolleys.
Key is they term for pitch. I’d make more sense to say pianissimo if you actually want to communicate subtlety. I do get your point about the bass, it just doesn’t make logical sense in my head.
I’m always annoyed by the term lowkey, because in music, low key means lower pitch, and not low in volume. It’s essentially bass, and my brain cannot comprehend how it could mean what it’s supposed to mean.
I haven’t. I moved to Lemmy as soon as my reddit app of choice stopped working. Then I deleted my reddit account and all comments.
Now that the app has also shifted to Lemmy, my experience is the same, and actually continuing using reddit would be more of a friction than using Lemmy as I’d have to learn the new interface.

My house has low water pressure and the tank used to take about half hour to fill. Before it could br filled again. After few years i realised the problem and installed a low pressure valve. Works like a dream now. But the place used to be a rental before too with more people living in it.
You’re right, but it’s not the argument she’s presenting.

Not cooked, they just don’t know.

One fagot sounds about right
It generally means the person made no effort and information should be taken with a grain of salt. Like “a quick Google”.
Going to work a special occasion? I mean maybe he was unemployed for a long time, or got his dream job, but still, sounds funny without any context.
“we were on a break!”

Does it have to be airports? Other brands have lesser footprint and are less noticeable. Wearing a beanie may be an option.

It depends where you live. I’m in Europe, and in my case driving to a park (im suburbs, not downtown) with my son was 10min, and cycling was twice as long but with a bike we could go directly to the playground, which was 15 min walk from the park entrance (including taking out the stroller etc) . So, while google maps showed me 10 vs 20 min, i learned it’s faster to actually just cycle there.

It’s not a productivity problem, it’s most likely a creativity problem. LLMs can help with that, yes, but author probably prefers to have original ideas.

No, but they (we) would be more careful about contraception.

Fuck that app. It’s enshittified beyond usefulness.
These are not equivalent.
There’s also scheming, but i don’t think either one is a 1 to 1 equivalent.
