While I fully agree with your comments on aspartame and have read these posted articles, I would have to disagree with you on the regular sugar part. The more we are researching sugar and its connection with heart health, the lower the recommended daily intake becomes. One of the reasons it is in fact still so HIGH of a recommendation is due to the sugary drink lobby going against the American heart association (as well as almost every physician organization) for the FDA recommendations.
But yes, in moderation you are fine. Just not as freely with the moderation as they make you think you have. This redbull is claiming 26g of sugar is only 53% of you limit, when the AHA limit is only 36g for men (and 25g for women!). So, bad in moderation.
There is actually a really cool history of color grading and the advancement of computers in film technology. The movie O Brother Where Art Thou was the first movie to use full color correction, that was only possible with newer computer assisted editing, and lead to a Oscar award as well as future technical awards for its impact on film editing. Before that movie, color grading was seen as a last ditch effort to compensate for failings of a lighting director or poor cinematographer and was expensively and painstakingly done on select frames individually, and never done on more than a scene or two. After computers were used for digital editing and made it cheap, fast, and easy (relatively), it has become the standard. And now with digital cameras, it is literally baked into the process. It’s a really fun rabbit hole to go down, would recommend.

Fuuuuuuck yes. It’s up there with all the other ones every one is saying “one of the best ever” the only difference is that no one ever talks about this one. The first 3 or so episodes are a little hard because they were made at peak GoT times and needed to ‘out Got the GoT’ and put in extra sex, violence, and bullshit that was superfluous to the story. For me it was people shitting on TRON:Legacy. I saw it opening weekend in 3D by myself. Fucking loved it. Saw it a second time the following weekend with my gf at the time. She was indifferent to it. One train stop (utility freight, not passanger) is much larger, sure. But how many tons does it process compared to an 18-wheeler? Then, in high density urban centers where you have passenger trains, they normally put them underground. Meaning, the only “land” they take up is about the size of 2 pumps, without the accompanying convenient store. Meanwhile, they remove thousands of cars off the road per day.
It is unquestionably more efficient to run more trains for both freight or passenger. That is why oil and gas hate it.
