2·3 months agoLet me guess, it just came with the unit and you still had to buy a power supply, case, storage, other necessary accessories, and the end price gets you something much more than 200 EUR. Probably more like 400-500 EUR.

I get it, and that’s why they would just hire the next guy on the street who would gladly take the money for the same job because they have been mostly unemployed for XX months/years.
Hundreds of thousands of layoffs and more and more declining QOL, benefits and pay. Just how it is today unless you are in one of the trending AI jobs - which will dry up and pay a fraction of what they used to before too long.
Instead they will be offered the same role with a 20-50% pay cut due to market conditions, and it will be 100% in person instead of fully remote or hybrid as it was just five years ago.

Like one of the guys says in the comments, highly unlikely. We’re already seeing some downward pressure on prices the past couple of months. The market simply does not support another 90% of hikes (between this guy’s Q3 and Q4 predictions)
Chinese brands are still producing and still adding supply to the global supply chain. Countries that can utilize chinese ram will buy them because they are cheaper, and they will keep producing more because they still can get a price premium from all the pent up demand.
Still gonna be a few years before prices come back down, but i’ll be amazed if we see much more of an increase.

7500x3d, 5060, similar specs other wise for 1k here at MC. I don’t think 1300 is a good deal.
9070xt will run circles around it for $630 or so.
There’s certainly CPU options out there for high fps gaming on ddr4 rigs, I just feel bad for the guys still on ddr3 who can’t eat the extra ~400 needed for a proper rig nowadays.
Meanwhile you can walk into microcenter and pick up a 7500x3d with a 5060 for $999
5060 aint fast either, but it’s way faster than a 7600. $300 will let you upgrade easily to 32GB of ram, or you could sell the 5060 (they seem to be about 300-320 for completed fleabay listings) and take the saved $300 and buy a 9070xt or something which are $630 at MC. 4k gaming for $1300. PSU is 650W and should work fine.
1300 and only 16gb of ram and a GPU on par with a RTX 3060 / RX 6650 . Brutal.

Sucks. Still my favorite streaming service because of all the high quality science fiction shows and no ad tier.
So far they haven’t cancelled any of the shows I’ve been super excited for either. It’s not like scamazon or netsux where they do a season and it’s awesome but oh, no! It isn’t #1 for a month on launch!… better cancel it.
It’s still just a billionaire owned company though and likely to do what everyone else does eventually. Can’t wait for the next thing to come along and nuke ads again.
