Any Govt agency with sufficient power can go to LetsEncrypt and have them either decrypt everything or issue specific certificates that can be decrypted and transparently allow man in the middle monitoring. That so much of the internet is using LetsEncrypt makes it highly likely this is all going on. It’s technically possible and the Govt wouldn’t allow LetsEncrypt to operate without being able to do this. Really this is true with all devices and encryption allowed to be sold. Unless you secretly meet all their demands they control all the required certifications and access to be able to sell your products, list them on the app stores, etc. It’s just a good rule of thumb to consider everything has this starting point unless you design and build the entire hardware and software stack to ensure nothing like this can be done. But you’ll never be able to sell it.

Sooner than later most things the average person does will sort of be vibe coded like compiling to an intermediate language. The idea of apps and walled gardens will not be as important. Instead of approved apps, it will be approved models and agents. Even the idea of an operating system is going to change. Linux is a great space for integrating the computing environment with AI coding. The full source is available to the model and any change you ask it to make can just be done for you. The idea of running a “Linux” or “Windows” could be limited to certain software and domains.

Wall-E and Idiocracy are becoming more real every day. Over time there will be fewer people capable of understanding the code produced by AI. If this process repeats over decades and if AI isn’t able to recursively improve itself without model collapse, eventually we will have the majority of software being built by model collapsing AI with almost no one left to be able to maintain it or even comprehend it. It’s always malicious prosecution because like all of our politicians, the justice system is made up of people who are backed by various financial and political interests. The system makes up its mind for what it is going to determine the truth to be as well as the legal process necessary to get the pre-determined end result. The police, DA, Judges, etc, all work together every day.

You basically have no rights and if you ever call the powers that be out for violating them, they will just throw various forms of immunity back at you… From qualified immunity to sovereign immunity, 11th amendment protections and so on.
