Don’t quote me on this, but I think this guy was one of the people who went to the Arctic to see a 24 hour sunny day and actually accepted the evidence

The Union Jack itself only represents 3 of the 4 countries in the UK. And since the missing one, Wales, has a dragon on their flag, it seems like an easy fix that will make the country as a whole cooler

26·3 months agoNo, that’s google. A leaked memo indicates that they deliberately made search worse so people would have to search twice and see twice the number of ads
AI companies lose money every time someone uses it. Even those that charge per-token

3·3 months agoThey say “average” volume. What do they mean by that? Or, more precisely, how are they measuring that? RMS? LUFS?
Probably LUFS, but even with LUFS there are ways to make perceived volume louder while remaining within a threshold

4·3 months agoThis seems like two unrelated stories. It wasn’t his decision to buy the car, nor did he design it. So it seems unlikely that he’s resigning because people don’t like the design or idea of it

6·3 months agoThey don’t sell as many ads, but they do sell ads. It was only a few months ago they announced that ads would be coming to their maps app. There’s ads in news, the App Store, music, and settings on iOS. Maybe more than aren’t coming to mind immediately
That’s how this video was allegedly made, although I’m extremely sceptical
