I’ve been seriously thinking a lot of countries need an official jester. An appointed official who gets to hang with the president/premier/prime minister and has full absolute security clearance. Not to disclose anything, but to know all of it, and is allowed speak publicly on any public forum or topic. Always require them to be appointed by the opposition.

There’s a combination of physics models and statistics. And they’re constantly updated with current measurements. They should get more accurate as the physics are modeled and measurements get more detailed. Of course we fired a lot of the people that do the modeling and shut down a bunch things doing the measurements.

Haven’t seen that one. Everywhere I’ve been they tack on $5 a month or so to have their router. Last one I bought was $80 2 years ago, so it’s already paid for itself.

Probably a modem problem honestly. I’ve been on and off comcast a few times and 3 different modems over the years. Only issue I’ve had were when my old ones got too out dated.

Regardless of the basic privacy invasion that we all know Comcast is doing. Buy your own cable modem and router. Comcast charges you to use theirs, so they pay for themselves in a couple years.

The US has a serious problem with who is able to sue for what damages when it comes to pollution. Depending on if it’s noise, water, or air, the legal codes are not effective at protecting property or people.

We can produce everything that comes from oil in non-fossil fuel versions. It will be a major world changing market disruption, but it won’t collapse the world.

Also, we’ll never actually run out of oil, it’ll just keep getting more expensive to the point other chemical sources become more economical.

Regardless of AI, anything you create will be stolen from yoy by corporations that already control the market.

Our government spends more on healthcare than anyone else as well.

The US spends more on Healthcare than Europe, or anyone else. We just get worse care for it.
