I am quite positive that it is AI gen.
- RGB light (can be edit in)
- RAM stick contact pins look too dense to be real
- Thin CPU fan with big hub pointing down while cooler fin lay horizontal
- Weirdly large distance between CPU and RAM socket
We have “Schadenfreude”. We’re gonna need a word for physical pain caused by witnessing such stupidity.

Fuck AI@lemmy.world•Designers are experimenting with AI to make clothes and footwear more interactive
11·3 months agoI’m so sick and tired of these “people” coming up with solution looking for a problem.
A cooling jacket is neat, but it’s not a new idea. Seeing behind my back is also nice but… idk, can’t you just strap LIDAR to a hard hat or something if you really need an alert? Don’t factories have curved mirrors installed just for this?
The rest of the examples in the article seems useless to be honest. I don’t even know why they have to include bulletproof clothes using kevlar like some novel concept.
I want a simple baseball cap or face mask that defeats facial recognition tech. Not shoes that tell me I walk wrong.

In situation which I have to get someone up to speed on the code base, learn new language or framework, No. I don’t want them or myself on the receiving end of “trained him wrong, as a joke”. Not out of principle but practicality, hallucination will cost me time, time I can use to actually read the docs, or find expert and consult them.
But if you want to build something only for yourself, run a model locally and go ham. I’m not a purist.
