Technology@lemmy.world•CEO Says He’ll Fire Any Employee Who Sends Him More AI SlopEnglish
2811·3 months agoThis is part of the abuse cycle. First they punish you for not behaving a certain way like using A.I. Then they punish you behaving that same way … in this case using A.I.
Eventually you will stop trying to decide for yourself if using A.I. is right and wrong. Eventually you will just do what they tell you.

13·3 months agoThat is more than just “meeting people” so give some credit where it is due. Just getting an interview these days is a win. Those are emotionally draining wins. And congrats for taking them on in this current economy.
And I do recognize when I hear impostor syndrome. It is a good thing to keep in mind for some more emotional room to take up and not feel badly about doing it.
And remember this is your chance to INTERVIEW THEM. Ask them the tough questions about workplace shite. Ask them when the last time a worker’s suggestion for change was taken and implemented.
You must interview them.

82·3 months agoInternal Combustion Engines certainly have higher maintenance requirements and have way more parts that can break than in EVs.
And Internal Combustion Engines require lots more fluids. So yeah as anyone that had owned a ICE vehicle and now owns an EV will tell you that EVs are just simpler to own.
