How do we find websites like yours? When I do a search it’s rare that small websites appear and Google seems to just end search results after a few pages. Is rss the primary way?

It is common, RTINGS did a video on it.

The beatings won’t stop until you buy an American car.

If I see AI generated images on Google Maps, Yelp, websites, menus, etc I immediately pass on the restaurant. I have no idea what restaurants think showing fake images of food is going to convey to it’s customers but if they can’t get photos right then they probably can’t get proper food storage and handling correct either.

I think it would be a problem because the scrapers are hammering all types of websites from small forums to reddit with tens of thousands of unique ip addresses at a time. Websites that have neither the money, hardware, or protection had to figure out solutions really quick or suffer what is essentially a constant ddos attack. This is the reality of the web now, it’s just an incredibly hostile place.

I have been threatened and almost mugged but both were at night. I’d still ride you just need situational awareness. It’s less a public transport issue and more my city sucks with dealing with mental health and homelessness.

Id immediately tell that supervisor I don’t consent to being filmed in the workplace. Then straight to hr to say the same. If nothing changes then I’d be off to find a new job wtf.

If an AI company ignores robot.txt exclusions and scrapes a site, then turns around and sells that content as a service, is that unauthorized access?

When you’re here, you’re family!

The voting turnout at least where I am was still abysmal for the primaries. There were some positive results still. I want these candidates pushing HARD for taxing the rich and corporations. Enough of this BS.

Man the air force is cooking lately.

Is there a good alternative for maps?

Who knew AI would be useful for running scams…

Getting a slap on the wrist is hardly embarrassing. They were only fine 180 million last time around.

Looks like the previous fine was 185 million.

How much was the fine for the last price fixing lawsuit?

This isn’t even my final form…

I like f droid but have found over the years that many creators of the apps I enjoy using end up just walking away and stop maintaining the app. I got the impression that making the app was just something they did for the experience and then moved on.

Exactly why federal employees were told telework is cancelled and now managers act like telework is some sort of impossible magic and not something that’s been around since the 90s.
Elect reps that support all these measure Sanders is always creating.
