I really like immutable distros tho. Even I switched to Bazzite for daily driver.

9·3 months agoThey’re trying hard to look like “good guys” ahead of their IPO.
Everybody heard their recent breakup with Pentagon but ignoring they were happily engaged with the War Machine before the breakup. They’re still serving Palantir, Blackrock, NSA and god knows who else.

1·4 months agoWhile it’s a very cool project, running a gaming setup on a Docker container felt very clunky to me. Somehow I fear it would add latency (input or output), then again even if so it should be negligible.
Then can you walk us around the maintenance, like what do you do when there’s a GPU driver update, do you rebuild the image?

1·4 months agoIf you’re looking for a Windows solution, check VibePollo. It’s also offering a headless, isolated streaming solution plus a lot more.


I won’t say it’s not* a privacy nightmare but doesn’t Apple devices process this whole thing on-device? I don’t find it fair to compare this with Meta anything (and only that).
