Yes i have. Several. Its kind of a right of passage after a certain point. They evaluate your desired commands by interpreting the symbols you use and the order you put them in. So yes if you put your symbols in different orders they will be interpreted differently. The way the text is displayed to users is a representation of how it is stored. If you want to have different viewing standards for the same code youre going to have to ALSO code for those different views. Or you force it and tell everyone that YOUR way is the ONLY way and you code your IDE as such.

For pretty much every language BUT python you can “view” it however you want. So long as youre willing to code your display to do as much.

Python is the only langauage where this matters. You can write pretty much every other langauage in one long string if you want (fhats what the compiler does to it). But that makes it really hard to read

I see it almost the opposite way. A lot of what you’re describing is exactly why I don’t put much value in dressing fancy or performing “respectability” for strangers.

Wearing a nice suit to the lodge once a week doesn’t make someone a good person. Plenty of people can dress up, look impressive in public, shake hands, say the right things, and then go home and be cruel, abusive, miserable, or drunk. I saw enough of that growing up to lose any belief that polished appearances are proof of character.

So when people stop treating suits, fancy clothes, and public image as moral signals, I don’t see that as societal decay. In some ways, I see it as growth. People are realizing that looking respectable and being respectable are not the same thing.

If anything, when I see someone using appearance, tradition, or status as a mask for behavior I don’t respect, it makes me want to be the opposite of what they stand for.

You make a really good point there. We dont need leaders and theyre not leaxers. Theyre Representatives. WE tell THEM what to do. Many seem to have forgotten that

OCR is nothing like creating a presentation. Pulling text out is nothing like generating an on screen show with that information. This is something i see a lot of in my company. People trying to use it to generate fancy powerpoints from random groupings of metrics. So they dont have to actually know what it is theyre presenting. They just press next, read the screen and if anyone asks questions say theyll ‘take that offline’ and ask someone else to look into it.

Its kind of funny in a way. If you know exactly what to ask for amd can interpret results and do investigations its incredibly helpful. But without that its a big noise machine. And its really showing out those who are capable of identifying exactly what it is they need and are capable of breaking it down into actionble paths vs those who need to constantly take things offline.
