  • I looked into it and i think its a shame and a blight on his otherwise good (i think) character.

But on the other hand, I can’t fault him for feeling nostalgic sentimental about the character that he embodied from child to adulthood. Thats quite a step beyond the nostalgia of consuming the media.

That doesn’t instantly make him a transphobe.

I compare it with Minecraft a lot. In the beginning before doubling down people said harry potter was written by Hatsune Miku echoing the Hatsune Miku created minecraft meme.

That meme originated after Notch also made some very toxic and small minded twitter comments (though his earlier blog did show him on support of lgbt).

Granted Notch sold Minecraft, calmed down (and possibly sobered up) so Minecraft profits dont go to him anymore… But Microsoft, the current owner, is literally complicit in helping Israel bomb Palestinian children.

People who dont boycot the HP franchise are not all Transphobes just like players of Minecraft arent all zionist trans- and islamophobes.

But thats is just my opinion. I haven’t heard anyone make this comparison or use this meme in years.

  • Source?

    From bbc

In a statement, the actor - Ron Weasley in the Potter films - said “I firmly stand with the trans community”.

“Trans women are women. Trans men are men. We should all be entitled to live with love and without judgment.”

Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson have also voiced support for trans people following Rowling’s remarks.

So has Eddie Redmayne, star of Potter spin-off Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and its sequel.

Grint, now 31, told The Times: “I firmly stand with the trans community and echo the sentiments expressed by many of my peers.”

According to google, this popular meme is entirely fictional.

I do not trust google but i am skeptical all around

Edit with the real quote that inspired this:

“They didn’t shoot anything out of their eyeballs. They were just people. And that, in and of itself, is remarkably rare in games”

Combined with calling tlos “the greatest story that has ever been told in video games”

  • I don’t know what they use but i can come up with multiple smarter ways on the spot.

Its probably a multitude of hashes and finding multiple ones in a picture is a red flag.

one i would do is to compare the difference between pixels. You can change the colors all you want. Dark hair versus teeth will always read as opposites per example.

Actually i don’t need to argue that it works… ai generation is always an entirely new picture with new pixels in a set resolution … thats why ai cant do colorisation right.

The fact that the existing hashes where detected in such recreation means the tech is very impressive. I doubt false positives are common with these either.

  • I am not opposing but there is a big risk here.

    Essentially there are 2 customers,

The company wants a worker, but the worker a company.

In a current hiring process if your not a fit for the company well thats end of story… but not with a centralised third system who is hiring for many different companies where they can hire you for another company instead were you are a better fit.

Sounds good on paper for now but.

The government needs you to work to pay taxes. The job of the government worker is to make sure the open positions are filled. Neither requires you or the employer to be long term happy with the deal.

Over time they will drown in crap positions that are technically legit employment but that no one actually wants and the government will get pressured to fill those positions.

So when you walk in, and you don’t instantaneously manage to sell yourself as one of the prime few worthy of the actual decent jobs everyone wants, they will try to push you in all the shitty ones till you stop coming back.

Then there is also you can’t really ban someone from employing someone directly.
