You’d basically have to repair it the same way it’s built, provided (as the other commenter said) the traces aren’t actually pulled off of the board. If they aren’t, then it’s a matter of soldering that component back in largely the same way it was done at the factory (without the automated machine of course, but by hand with heat and flux). It definitely wouldn’t be easy, but it could be a good learning exercise for the right person.

The hate towards Valve right now is so fucking weird. Is it perfect? No. Are they actively contributing to projects which can break the M$ coalition? Yes.
Don’t let perfection be the enemy of progress, and accept the wins. When Valve actually becomes anticompetitive (big when), then speak up. Otherwise you have bigger fish to fry.
