I bought a dutch sim card (no registration) and a used android phone thats not linked to me to activate it. Then I made an whatsapp account with that number and I am only accessing it via whatsapp web on my graphene OS phone on a special profile with no acceas to my contacts. That profile also uses a dutch mullvad vpn server thats always on.

I am not dutch and don’t live in the Netherlands.

Small former Gemeinschaftsanntenne in my town and surrounding villages, I don’t wanna dox myself so can’t tell you the name. They probably have anywhere between 10-20k customers only. But afaik they are just one of many IPv4 only ISPs in Switzerland.

Switzerland, we have the best and worst of both worlds. 25GBit Fiber home connections for less than 100 USD per month and ISPs that only support IPv4.

I just read a thread on hackernews where a bunch of Europeans where switching to netbird because of migration away from US tech, so I guess that was a mistake on their part.

Tailscale is american. There are European alternatives like netbird.io or self hosted headscale.

Does this include Youtube videos? Or at least Youtube videos without a clear description and summary?

Those constant ad money farming posts really lower the quality of this sub.
