All my levels came back perfect, so they referred me to an ENT because they did catch a lot of snoring. Five minutes with the ENT and they saw I have a badly deviated septum that pretty much keeps me from breathing through my right nostril. So now I’m on a trial of breathing strips at night to see if surgery will be a good option.

The argument being that Black people shouldn’t be portrayed as victims since they’d “clearly” do the same when given the opportunity. Which is itself part of a bigger push to get Black people onto the Republican side. They make similar arguments, like when a poor Black person becomes rich they’ll be just as selfish as any other rich person (e.g., Dave Chapelle), so they shouldn’t bother working with Democrats that would campaign on policies that might improve quality of life.

tl;dr it’s a grift poorly disguised as a bad gotcha argument.
