Yeah Rnote definitely comes closest to OneNote, in the Linux/FOSS space.

Yeah Nextcloud for all learning entites would be huge. We actually have that in Germany for all universities, issue is the vast majority of people don’t even know it exists. And honestly I doubt any of them would even care to use it if they did.

Keep in mind this is a very techy place. I doubt the LaTeX learning curve is worth it for the average Joe. It certainly shouldn’t be the only option for all document writing in school.

While I do agree that native is often better, in this case I don’t. I actually even use Heroic Launcher on Windows for Epic Games aswell.

I never had problems with the collision detection (flashing BRAKE), up until I drove a Fiat 500e recently. It seems to differ by make and model I guess.
That Fiat was insanely obnoxious though: It plays a very loud DING and flashes the entire dash red, even if you’re going quite slow and can literally come to a complete stop with enough space between you and the car in front, just by taking your feet off the pedals and using regenerative braking.
I drove it once and I got that warning like five times. Never had it before with Ford, Opel, Renault, …

From the screenshots this doesn’t look too different to Breezy Weather, which I’ve been using for a while now.

I’ve been running an HP ProDesk 600 G4 mini (i5-8500T, 32 GB RAM) for a few years now and am very happy. I bought it with 8 or 16 GB RAM and a 256 GB M.2 for 140 €. It can fit one 2.5" SATA drive and two M.2 2280 drives. I have it running 24/7/365 with 2x2 TB M.2 SSDs and a 256 GB boot SSD and it usually uses around 7 Watts.

If you want to go the HP route, ProDesk 600 and EliteDesk 800 have two M.2 slots, while the ProDesk 400 only has one.

Alternatively, Lenovo and Dell also have similar formfactor PCs, but I don’t remember their names.

Performance wise, the 8th gen i5 is more than fine for TrueNAS and 10-15 docker containers.

Ah indeed, ALT+S does nothing. I must have pressed both before realizing it was frozen.

On my Terminal that just makes it so I can’t type anymore, I feel like I’m doing something wrong…

My solution to the problem is CTRL+U, type sudo, CTRL+Y.
