Nothing would get me to uninstall an app quicker. There has been a few apps that I wanted silent and minimized notifications from but didn’t have the separate notification category for their ads so I couldn’t turn those off. Ended up turning off all notifications for the app and said screw it.

This was how I remember it too, but it’s been a while since I read the comics and watched the show. They used to basically be brothers. I don’t remember any implication either. But given how many decades it’s been, and my age at the time, I would have likely missed it. Yep. Worked there around the same time as you. I was on the appliance and TV repair side and was part of the massive layoffs. I left and focused more on my engineering career. But I saw the same thing you did. I started in '06 and left around '16. Saw the wheel spin a couple of times. My dad went there recently to buy something simple, asked for help, was told someone would be right over, and after half an hour he left and just picked it up from Walmart. They got rid of the checkout at our local store and now customer service rings people out, but when no one is around to do that… People just leave.

It’s sad to see, I don’t want less competition out there for electronics retail.

Or the subs on the anime is AI generated garbage that isn’t accurately translated. I’d rather wait a few days and find a fan sub. Though that’s hard these days. Seems like even pirated copies of shows just rip from Crunchyroll anyway. Which go figure, Crunchyroll is owned by Sony last I checked.
