Well I’m inclined to believe that a machine would at least keep its acronyms straight (HOTL = Human In The Loop???)

I thought this was implying there were 11 Fantastic Beasts movies and I was like “omg why”
Don’t forget the air pollution!
Also: disable AI from all websites, such as Google/DuckDuckGo and YouTube. Don’t know how to do this? What a perfect opportunity to practice old school Internet searching to find the answer!

The aye-aye is weird-looking enough as an adult, but it looks like a Jim Henson creation as a baby.

I was planning on making a separate post tomorrow asking the opposite ;)

Wild boars. We need an antonym for “glow up.”

USA here, and no. However he does look like a mash-up of several celebrities that I would recognize.

How dare you use my likeness for such filth.
(For the botanically-disinclined, those are fireweed flowers in the photo.)

So while it sounds insane for detergent to label itself gluten-free, for people with severe gluten sensitivity toiletries, cosmetics, and other non-consumable items can still cause them symptoms with exposure, or so I’ve been told by someone I know with gluten intolerance. Whether this is an exaggerated concern or not, there is demand (albeit small) for such products.

There’s diversity for sure. Old, rural, traditional Japanese homes are huge, most apartments are tiny, and standard single-family homes are usually somewhere in-between. The layout pictured here is most common in houses and apartments with multiple occupants; single-person apartments (especially cheaper or more modern ones) often have a more western-style “unit” bathroom with everything shoved into one room. But there’s a lot of variety; for instance some places have the sink and tub/shower together while the toilet is separate. Japanese homes (especially apartments) often only have one bathroom, so separating out the bath, toilet, and sink/vanity is actually a space-saving compromise, because one person can be using the toilet, one taking a bath, and another brushing their teeth all at the same time with relative privacy without the need for a second (or third) bathroom.

I wonder what it takes to really piss OP off if they only consider this “mildly” infuriating.

This is the way most Japanese showers are set up, and it works well because the shower/tub, toilet, and sink/storage area are three separate rooms.
Here is a (simplified approximation of a) common layout:

I’m sorry to hear that; I hope you’re doing well.

SC2. I was first introduced to 2 and then never went back to play 1. I should have specified, but it’s just “StarCraft” to me.
Hooooly shit that image is so much worse than I was imagining (it’s the pose + Black model; I could see claiming ignorance if it were just the costume alone, but yowza).

My last game was StarCraft so I’d be dead via ling rush within the first three minutes.
Edit: StarCraft 2

I’ve cross-posted this to “Actually Infuriating” where it belongs.

Lower Decks was brilliant tho
I will readily admit, I feel a sense of pride cross-posting a meme from a general community to a niche community that fits the content perfectly. Sometimes they end up out-performing the original post!
