  • If someone can sanity check me, can you look at sketch kingdom as an example?

I checked Sketch Kingdom and it does not have a disclosure so I checked a few more.

I noticed that in the box on the right that shows multiplayer/etc, every game without the disclosure had a line saying “Steam is learning about this game.” No game with a disclosure had that

For example, School of Magic, which does have an AI disclosure, says “Profile features limited” instead

May just be a coincidence, I didn’t check more than like 10

  • The last time I went to Wendy’s, the voice recognition and model were both surprisingly good. I had a “natural” conversation when it told me the crispy chicken BLT wasn’t on the menu anymore and it acknowledged my annoyance that a computer was offering to add a slice of bacon for $2.50.

That said, the very existence of this new drive through is why I havent gone back. A shame because the 4 for $4 got me through some hard times

  • Nope, but guess what? Neither do I.

You can call me a hypocrite but I’m not totally anti-AI. I use VS Code (free through work) once in awhile as a tool to…make tools. Nothing is particularly advanced but neither are the things his AI agent does for him.

I work in AutoCAD so they’re mostly one-off LISP routines but part of my job is submitting the information in the drawing sets separately (device lists, bulk wire requirements, etc). I vibe coded a script that pulls that info and puts it in an Excel template. I have a similar one that does the reverse, pulling the parts list into AutoCAD from a bill of materials.

Both took under 30 minutes and I’ve used them consistently for a year.
