I have used https://typst.app/universe/package/brilliant-cv/ in the past, can recommend. Customised it to my liking though, never cared to upload it.

Pivot tables are interesting with LibreOffice Calc, I’d say. They break in funny ways for me.

Still, glad I don’t have to use it that often.

Not necessarily. You can have your documents on one subvolume and the root system on another. I version and snapshot my root disk and home disk separately.
