You make a great point. In court cases human memory is notoriously unreliable (any lawyer will probably tell you this) and usually lead attorneys on cases rely on evidence like logs, communication, photos, videos, etc. to make their case.
And I am guilty of thinking highly of my memory as well, I really ought to be more critical of my memory.

If you can’t find anything else maybe those wooden tooth picks?
Also now I’m wondering if you could just turn it upside down and let the roast fall out…
Now I see it.
Thanks.
I think most common is phishing attacks, scammers, and then shady downloads.
Less common is probably dependency attacks, xss, and exploiting servers in the traditional way, and probably a bunch of other attack vectors.

I’m not cool headed but after a while I learned I can’t fix his trust, I can only ground him by showing him my world and doing my best to keep the door open. The rest is up to him.
Wait why? Haven’t heard anything bad about them other than generic music.

That’s the way I do it. My dad started distrusting most of academic science, so every time he is telling me something outlandish about spiritual things I just say that I view those things differently and then tell him how and why.
Just a soft disagreement, not more not less. I want him to know how I think, I wanna understand why he feels that way.

I think you’re thinking of Philomena Cunk or however it’s written.
I think Dan Toomey / Good Work could also work.
I also think the underlying idea of your post is a great way of thinking about it: clearly traditional interviews don’t work because he is finding ways to circumvent criticism. The best way we could do it is non-traditional interviews.

This will be controversial I think but I wanna say it.
I think “AI is the industrial revolution” is one of these opinions that makes AI easier to grasp and thus it’s more popular than most people think.
I believe that too btw because it benefits and destroys us at the same scale. Of course when you get into the details it’s a very different technology shift but I think generally a lot of people subscribe to that.
No shaming, fair question.
From a societal ethics standpoint I don’t see a reason why any decision in this would be reprehensible. Both seem like valid lines of thinking to me.
If your social support is stable enough even without your partner, I think that’s doable and might be fine.
Now I’m also considering whether you are able to take care of an aging partner as well as a younger child or teenager which might be another thing worth considering.
I think I personally would lean towards keeping the child but mind you I’m a 30 yo guy with no partner, so I have a very different perspective on this.
Anyway I hope whatever decision you make, you will make it work.

American’s reactions will range from despair to triumph. Most of them feel sad about it at the minimum. But I think they will be mainly responding to the state of affairs, after all a nuke just reflects the extreme voices currently in power in the US.
I personally will grieve the world before the new nuke dropped. I would be scared of escalation and I would probably also get more radical in my beliefs. I would probably find fairly radical activist groups and join them and try to supply them with my time and knowledge as much as possible.
Basically a nuke will change my methods. I will basically look at the current geopolitics as beyond repair and I will try my best to make my voice heard forcefully, so we can role the dice and hope for better leaders. Maybe I will have to donate my freedom.
But until that part of me dies that still hopes we can get there with our current system, I will be a holdout and just make my vote count.

Literally wrote more than 100 applications and only one in-person meeting. I am more qualified than the average person in my field with more than 10 years of experience already.
Ngl I hate posts like this because it feels like talking to me as if I’m a big dumb dumb. But I did the calculations and the only thing I can conclude is a combination of bad luck and an extremely hostile job market. I had friends literally shocked I didn’t find a job. It’s awful and it strips away my confidence that took me a decade to finally build up.

Maybe they found a new funny and quirky way of violating privacy.

I have underlying issues that force me to sacrifice my mental health just to survive, and thus I lack the safety margin to be gentle to myself.
I wanna get to a point where I can practice kindness on myself but I am not in a position where I can do so at this point.

Yeah if you say the exact same phrase to the same people. But if you’re genuinely kind you adapt to the moment and then you stop sounding like a robot.
And also this doesn’t apply to service workers who I will probably come across a handful of times only. And to them it’s probably more of an offset to the shitty experiences they had that day.
TL;DR theoretically yes, practically no.

So they didn’t even backpedal? Rip windows I guess and probably microslop too if current trends continue.

I wouldn’t call it mindfulness because that has a weird spiritual undertone but I fully agree.
I specifically wanna highlight that the most important actions of kindness are small things and whenever you remember to be kind you will automatically respond that way, because it will be your modus operandi in social interactions. It sounds cliche but the truth is if you prioritize it, it sticks in your mind and often those tiny interactions reflect what is important to you.
That said of course this is not a substitute for taking the effort too. Sometimes it’s annoying to say an extra phrase of kindness but it’s important.

This is so hard. I am doing all the other stuff regularly but this one will always be my nemesis.
WSL?
