I think it’s an AUR package you can download and configure, probably the one that caused all the security issues for AUR the other week.

They’ll just continue with artificial scarcity until they get sued or fined or something but won’t be enough to offset the profits

I started out self hosting with windows server 2012 because my school was a Microsoft and Cisco partner but mostly ran Linux VMs on it using hardware raid. Ran bitwarden, Plex and a wiki plus a VM with a bunch of docker containers. Ran that for about 3 years and now have been on Unraid for 6 or so years and loving it.

It’s been a while but I used automatic-ripping-machine for a long time and worked well. Definitely going to take a look at this in the coming weeks.

I use both at home, mostly plex though and I have about a dozen people who watch remotely and keeping the remote access private and secure I’m not putting jellyfin behind a public reverse proxy. Not feasible to setup wire guard for a dozen people across 4 states and troubleshooting those tunnels when Plex does all that for me. Plus Plex allows them to manage and reset their password without my intervention
