It can’t all be. I know there are many Israelis who are against genocide, and there have been protests against the governments treatment of Palestinians.

This is another good example of saying “Fuck (country name)” they’re usually talking about the government of that country, and not necessarily the citizens. For example, Russia can fuck right off, but I’d expect that most Russian citizens are decent people who are merely drowning in propaganda. Lots of people are, all around the world.

They do it to protect their feelings. They’ve normalized the use of something most people hate, so they want everyone else to adopt it, too. That way, they won’t feel judged, when they 100% deserve to feel judged.
