i wouldn’t consider that to be too terrible. It’s beautiful and you can entertain yourself nearly endlessly outside of the narrative.
Unfortunately for me I last played 76 to see what had changed. And I’d definitely go mad since i’ve basically done and seen it all outside of some builds i want to try.
Yeah this is absolutely propaganda right out of the Project 2025 handbook. Gen-z won’t drink the Kool-Aid and it frightens them. Keep at it.

This always baffled me. It really was so lazy and boring with the sets. It is weird when you think about how they had all those creative engineers making frickin’ killbots at their disposal. Let them eat… But no, just flat areas and stupid hammers and floor saws too slow and weak to do anything… so everyone makes indestructible wedges to push other bots up on the edge, or a spin-hammer that is undefeatable.
Not exactly the laziest but I was in IT collaborating with a dev on a project for our MSP’s control panel. They were ignoring my meeting invites, emails and IMs for a few days and I was getting annoyed. They were upstairs in a separate building across from ours. Kind of a hike.
Rather than hunt them down like a normal person, i browsed to their drive and stuck a batch script in their startup folder that drew a cheeky Matrix-style animated graphic (first one was out then) that after 30 seconds or so faded out to a message asking them to contact me. I set it so it would pop up and maximize if they rebooted. I tested it a bit but wasn’t sure if it would work or even if they ever rebooted since we had dedicated workstations.
But apparently they shut down their machine every night. So the next day they stood up and freaked out yelling that they had been hacked before they saw the ensuing message.
They were pretty pissed off once someone calmed them down and they figured out what i’d done, but we got the project completed after that.
The BBB is a bullshit company just like J. D. Power and Associates.
Oh yeah, when you put it that way… I do have some survival skills from growing up in the country, but the culture is what’d probably do me in. I’d misunderstand someone and get waxed pretty fast most likely.
