The Intel macbook I used to used would freeze if you plugged it into a monitor while it was sleeping (it was using the Intel gpu before it went to sleep and then tried to output to the amd gpu after being woken up before the gpu was ready). About once a month my Linux desktop will freeze after waking up from sleep and I’ll have to hit the reboot button on the front panel.
