I mean I check NYT or some political focused news sources (based in Germany) but still Celebrity headlines pop up at times and it kinda annoys me. Its more slight annoyance but I created this meme after such instance. This is obviously exaggerated but this is a shitpost so idgaf
I don’t think these pickpockets honestly got many sympathies, even from europeans. I think there was allegedly some report were to police pleaded with american tourists not to beat up pickpockets too badly.

This comparison is really lacking, just like the NFT one of the other commenter.
I would say AI has a lot more usecases compared to a monkey picture URL on the blockchain
No matter how much your distaste for it is, the cat is out the bag. You can refuse it but other people will keep using it
Thats why I’m actually at least for now hoping for the FOSS Chinese Frontier labs to make the breakthroughs since many of them still share research and open weight models
I would say this statement is false but just because its not really a secret

32·3 months agoI dont use or like Brave that much but its definitely not Malware. This is how we lose normies. They use google chrome or whatever and infighting tells them “look this significantly more private product is awful”. We kinda gotta stop doing that. That had some scretchy incidents with referral links but their BAT thing is like whatever. You dont have to use it. Their defaults are much more private then all the other mainstream chromium browsers. And it Open Source. I also think their development for their search engine has been interesting.

Yes, that is very reasonable and has been the standard in most developed nations for a while now outside the US. Although in the US it would quickly be decried as “communism” or whatever (ignoring the fact the US healthcare system is the most expensive in the world)
I wasn’t arguing against wealth distribution. Im just saying its crazy to believe if everyone were millionaire, everyone could afford what current millionaires can afford. I think the wealth assessment of few individuals is a systematic failure of capitalism. No individual can work enough that they should have a million times that of the average citizen. I think having certain variation in pay grade and wealth can be okay if it serves the best interest of the public and entices people to work hard. The economy would be driven by spending, yes but that spending would devalue money quickly. Also billionaires have most money in company shares, land etc, not liquid cash. Inheritance and wealth tax can do a decent amount to reduce inequality I believe. A good social safety net would also make the US a much better place for the average citizen.
People are just misunderstanding my argument. Although I don’t think violent means like mentioned here are the way to go. But what am I even saying we are in a shitpost community after all.
And knowing this makes me even more upset without anything to direct my anger at than myself
Hey… rich people buy houses too! If they want the plot of land beneath it they just rip out and replace the house with something fancy
Money would be devalued quite a bit, since production capacity doesnt randomly jump. If everyone is rich, no one is
Is it? I dont think so actually

I mean if you dont know jack shit about linux or arch and try to follow the guide I’d imagine it could take you quite a while. It took me a while at least.
