It is likely compressed using some AI tool before saving on their servers.
“then” is used to depict time, sequence or a causal relationship. “than” is used with comparative adjectives, to depict comparison.

Perhaps I should check if a relevant blood test is available here.

Fuck AI@lemmy.world•OpenAI stole research out from under mathematicians' noses and now suddenly all the STEM bros are very hot and botheredEnglish
1·6 days agothe people most critical of AI have been those that trained their own one at home for fun
I wish this applied to me, but I never got any ideas to have fun with AI and there were enough things more interesting that I couldn’t get the time. And now, I don’t have the computing power to make any significant thing.

Is “already” really the word to use.
Don’t vehicles need the investigation being done before getting on the road?
I’d say the investigation started a bit too late.

0·10 days agoNot sure how well that would match the definition of trolling, but the template usually is:
Side A: Says something that people call correct. Side B: Says something that people call absurd, but then realise how that correlates to what Side A previously said. This make people realise the absurdity of what Side A said.
This template has quite a few similarities to little witty fable-like stories that were available in children’s books, which ended up helping children develop some level of critical thinking while also being entertaining.
Continue reading for an example story that might not be fun to read, because I am not a very good writer…
The king was once walking around his kingdom’s streets when he overheard a drunk guy boasting off how he can stay neck-deep in lake water the whole night in winter. The next day, the guy was summoned to court and offered treasure on the condition that he would do the same. The guy went to the said lake and stayed there the whole night and came back the next day to receive his reward.
When the king asked, how he managed the feat, the guy said that he looked at the burning lamps in the temple on the other side of the lake and got heat from it all night. The king then went on saying that the guy had cheated and proceeded to not give the treasure.
A few days later, the court jester invited the king to dinner at his house. When the king arrived, the jester said that the food was not ready yet and would take some while.
After a few hours of waiting the king went into the kitchen to find the jester. The jester had hung the pot off of a high tree branch in the backyard and had a bonfire under the tree.Looking at the vertical distance between the pot and the fire, the king had the obvious response of telling the jester how it would be impossible to cook the food with that method, to which the jester responded by saying that it should be possible considering how the guy in the winter lake managed to get heat from a temple 100s of metres away.

4·12 days agoThe post seems like a retort to something some woman might have posted, saying something like, “If he doesn’t tell you he’s poor, when hitting on you, that’s sexual assault.”. There are quite a few to and fro comments like this visible in those spaces.

0·12 days agoThat was the year when we were taught of the speed of light and the specific question might have been at the end of the same chapter in the text book.
Somehow I had a vague feeling that the effect of turning on the switch should not reach the light instantly. It was much later, that I found out how it was related to the absolute speed of information that is available in current theory.
Note, that I hadn’t used the internet as much back then and it was much later, that I started diving into Wikipedia. On the other hand, teachers are supposed to be university graduates themselves, so considering that I had the answer to that question by 12th, I would expect the teacher to at least be able to correctly answer that.

0·12 days agoNow that I think about it, it might have used “instantaneous”, so my fault would have been just that I didn’t know the difference vs “instant” :P.
But then again, that would partially be the teacher’s fault for not pointing that out when I raised that question in class.

2·12 days agoI initially followed on their plans for that thing and from what I remember, they were going to include the older ones too.
But I’d think they would at least be willing to do something trivial like a rebuild for a big name like CERN, if they just called ‘support’.
“trivial”, because it doesn’t require many expensive man-hours, just an additional entry in whatever batch build config they use.

7·12 days agoNice.
This gives me an idea.Additional tax for rooms marked as “for rent”, but going unrented for enough part of the year.
Calculation will also take into account recent evictions.
Considering how I end up saying worse, when I get 100+ line changes of code with a commit message that only illustrates 1 of the changes, I don’t think I care about anyone being “adjusted”.

Actually I was suggesting that the service having compressed it with some AI-based tool ironically made the scanner’s report correct.
The actual scanner was probably BS anyway and would have even flagged the original.
