That and doing peoples passports. A dude at the mall was doing peoples passports filing and photos in like 15 minutes charging each person a couple hundred because it was quicker than trying to schedule an appointment at the post office that’s usually a few months wait
I basically did the same thing but have a YouTube downloader that puts them on my Plex server. So I can watch a show then like a YouTube video and call it a night

People working from home is also great for those that can’t. During and after the covid shutdowns I could be at work in like 35 minutes. Now that most people are back in office its about an hour to an hour and 10 minutes. Not to mention the office being full of people again is frustrating
We should invent a new thing, different cards if different amounts that you just leave with the cashier and they swap you a card of the remainder. So you dont have to deal with having to punch in your pin or if the network is down, more privacy focused

I usually just open links in the browser, generally I have to go to desktop mode and it will play, at least for twitter, tiktoks, and facebook stuff the family sends me
I work with computers and end up with some old e-waste stuff every so often so Im like the person in the family that supplies people with computers, its kind of funny to me that Ive given people linux machines and they just dont notice the difference really. no one seems to install software much these days. One person I gave a linux pc to just uses steam to play her hello kitty game and uses the browser which by default is firefox, I was worried about it not being chrome but when I asked she didnt seem to mind since she uses an iphone she never really setup a google account, so no bookmarks or anything to worry about
exactly the reason I swapped my parents pc to linux, its just stable and simple for them to use. they dont do much other than open the browser and go to youtube or just plug their phone in and copy over their photos to the pc
I’m using pinchflat on it. The trickiest part was just the naming scheme in pinchflat for the videos and the library configuration on plex so it shows them correctly.
Also I got blocked by YouTube a few times because I would pause it for a while then start it up and it would download way too many so they would block me for like a month
