That just means no extra money during these times.
You don’t need to try timing the market.
You operate with thresholds instead: the $150k have become $150k + x -> move x to stable assets and wait until the next time there’s x extra.
What’s not working is trying to have a reliable, stable source of extra incoming.
Skimming gains is possible though.

You can withdraw/shift allocation to more stable assets during bullruns and live off these stable assets until the rest of your more volatile assets have made gains again.

My point is: I don’t even waste time with asking whether or not fascists are people (dehumanizing people is a different sort of hole you don’t want to fall into, lest you turn into what you strive to fight…).
Fascists are a prime example of the Paradox of Tolerance and have to be treated accordingly.
You’re right, but I suggest: don’t get trapped in side issues ;)

That’s good to know.
Thank you confirming what I was hoping for.

In my book it is.
It’s still bad and a reason to strive for the ability to fully own games.
But Steam’s fault? Nah.

I’m not aware of Steam ever having removed a purchased game from a library.
If you have a reliable source that says otherwise please link it.
Technically they could do that of course.
But it would be bad for their business and have people do more business with gog.com.
Steam gets chosen over gog.com for convenience.
If purchased games disappear that will be even more inconvenient.
edit: I mean “Steam ever having removed a purchased game from a library” in the sense of for no good reason.
Following legal requirements or being dependent on external resources (e.g. game servers) outside the responsibility of Steam are different things and I wouldn’t blame Steam for it.
There’s a reason for the trust people have in Steam.
And there are plenty of reasons for not having trust in Sony.

People voting with their wallet will decide how this ends.

They want RAM, not ROM ;)

If it were closed and susidized, you’d have to try “opening” the hardware before installing any other operating system.

The instant messengers on the smart phones might have played a critical role. Whatsapp started in 2009.
Texting and driving is a thing, so there’s a way to derive causation and not only correlation from that.
…it triggers a certain kind of rage/hate in me when I spot people texting and driving, which I usually do several times each day.

The rise of smartphones with instant messengers might have contributed to that.

Wouldn’t that be a
Yessferatu?

I like the spirit of your comment.
But slowly deflating tires can get dangerous for the people inside that vehicle and around.
Cars with four flat tires not so much.
I don’t care for the property of assholes who don’t care about the health and potentially lives of others.
How many valve stems did you collect?

Would help a lot, if violations did not only cost money, but the driver’s license eventually.
I can’t find that shit on Signal 🤷♂️
Why would you want to put the onus of proving something illegal was done on the victims?
Banning pervert glasses solves the problem at the root. Plus it’s orders of magnitude more easy to prove someone wore them than proving something illegal was done with them.
MPAA - make perverts afraid again ;)
