This isn’t how I thought we’d return to the good ole days of the internet, but hey, maybe BBSes can make a comeback.

I have seen the OG (not slim) version of playstations called “Phat” since the PS2. I don’t think it was a typo at all, you just weren’t familiar with the usage.

It didn’t pay any CEO for the privilege to sit there and grow obviously /s

Jenny K can go lick a cactus.
This image is shockingly topical and seems to answer the question.
The name was my favorite part. Like he’s the worst spy imaginable.

I can picture Weird Al taking basically any role in that movie and enjoying it more.

I think this would be amazing.

I was just going to comment that, ironically, “Weird” isn’t a valid answer.

At my previous job we handled much of this in house because we were a rather large company and could do so. We ran into the same things because our bolted on processes would need to be maintained indefinitely because every ERP system update tended to break things in unspecified ways. I no longer need to do this sort of thing, but if I never have to write code for legacy IBM systems again I’ll be happy.

Can confirm, switching ERP or billing systems is a risky multi-year nightmare with a price tag that makes even larger corps blush.

I think you didn’t catch that I was joking, it was definitely many years ago. It was a 4chan prank that went viral.
Yeah, Daiya is terrible. My wife and one of my kids can;t eat dairy. Violife seems to be one of the better shredded !cheeses, but only when melted.

No way, that happened only a few years ago… right? …right? :(
The absolutely wild thing is that I am not sure that sheets one 1 dollar bills would be much more than nice wallpaper cost-wise.

I mean, I get what you’re saying, but 1% of a 40 room home would be pretty high would it not?

I do agree with that wholeheartedly!

yelling at sony isn’t how they are going to fix it. Stop buying their products will.
I fail to see why we can’t and shouldn’t do both. I’m not personally going to harass them as I had already written them off, but voting with your wallet is not enough IMO. There needs to be public backlash to make sure that everyone knows that they suck and cannot be trusted. Many of their current customers weren’t even alive during some of Sony’s previous shitbag instances, I don’t expect them to know the history so let’s collectively make it known and tear their shit down. I want Sony as a company to know they are personally despised, not just see lower sales eventually. I want their employees to not want to admit who they work for because of how much they suck. Yes, I am very angry at them, and every other greedy shitty corp out there. Just passively walking away from them isn’t effective enough.
All this being said, we’re clearing just arguing past each other here and not going to change either other’s mind., so I’m going to call it quits. Have a good one.

Right, but people are still buying consoles. “Simply buy no more games” is a kick in the face if you just saved up to buy a console. “you don’t own the hardware” that’s nonsense, it is the only thing in the console gaming equation that you do own. I still own all my consoles going back to the Atari 2600, I most certainly own them. The console maker just has far more ability to screw you over in the modern consoles. I don’t know why you think people cannot be rightfully angry about this bullshit.
It’s Kojima, just run with it.
