Americans dumb.
Unironically yes. Collectively they work to maintain and improve the oppression upon themselves. That’s dumb.
As an American, can confirm too many act in our collective worst interest to hurt those they see as unworthy or different. And then there are those who stit the pot to make billions of $. :(
And even then, you’re being robbed at £9 a month.

I mean, everyone who’s spoken out and defied Big Food by giving up their “eating” scam has died shortly there after. Kinda suspicious if you ask me.
One-and-done cures are not pursued by big pharma because they work on the subscription model.
Because of this, we don’t know how many potential one-and-done cures might exist. Maybe not many, or maybe many. We just don’t know.
Capitalism sucks for everyone but the filthy rich. But, in this case they’re screwed, too. Several years ago, a few of the billionaires backed their own horse in the race to develop longevity therapies. It’s not about the money, it’s about buying favors. Such a therapy, if it works well enough, might not be available at any price. Instead, the owner will keep it to hand out and hook other powerful people into doing their bidding.
Imagine the power that would come with being the only source of functional immortality.
