    It looks like the TVs are scanning for accessible WANs on their own, and they still store some data (I’m not sure what happens when they reach full capacity.)

      Same thing that happens to your computer or phone when it reaches 100% storage capacity. It slows to a crawl and crashes often, prompting the consideration of a new TV purchase.
