I only really have windows to play Fortnite with my spouse, spending time with her is more important than personal feelings about an operating system. With Epic seemingly developing linux support this may not be needed. My Windows drive will probably sit there doing nothing unless I feel like playing Red Dead Redemption 2 or GTA 6 when it eventually comes out on PC.
For some reason I also have this game called Little Goody Two Shoes that only works on Windows. I can get it to run on Linux but Lutris likes to break on me. It’s a horror game that’s worth at least looking at. It’s horror in the same way Madoka Magica is horror.
Back on topic, I hate Win 11. I have to use it at work and I spent the firat 4 minutes of me having to use it changing a lot of settings. Like the toolbar should be left-oriented not center. This isnt a cell phone. Next I changed the Windows menu to list view because wtf is even going on with that. There are so many “ease of access” changes that make doing things more complicated. When i firat saw Win 8 I knew that was the end.
Win8 was so bad they backed away and made Win10 more like Win7. Win11 is a nightmare I only have on my work computer. Every update makes it a little bit worse.
