      I wouldn’t call this positive exactly. It’s more ominous. It’s really disturbing that happened in the first place, it’s very disturbing that they clearly want to try it again.

        There needs to be some kind of process like an intervention where people get introduced to what big data has already done.

        With modern storage and compression techniques companies might be storing the data those bars already gathered for years before the facial recognition gets to the point where even crappy, out of focus face partials are good enough to identify a person and connect them to a database.
