I visited NYC with a buddy around 1987, and he had a friend that worked maintenance in the WTC. He showed us around a bit, including the observation deck. Then he checked a nondescript door, and it opened. He told us to follow him, and we walked up the steps to open roof top!

There were a few other people around, and it wasn’t prohibited to go up there, but it was closed most of the time due to weather and wind, so they didn’t promote it, and even he had never been up there.

I stood in one place and took a series of photos in a circle, a pre-digital panoramic shot. It was a cloudy day, but I could see the entire city. Those photos are buried somewhere, but when I find them, I’ll scan and post them.

Right? If im interpreting this correctly, it’s saying something to the effect of “some of you will be going to hell, so this is as close as you’ll get to heaven!” Like, dafuq kinda message is that supposed to be sending lmao

I went to the WTC twice to try to get up to the observation decks. Both times they were closed due to high wind.

Turns out a link aggregation site is also taking content from a link aggregation site, oh the humanity!

Fr tho I don’t get those types complaints as I dont mind if stuff is posted from Reddit since it means I don’t have to visit Reddit to see it. It’ll be new content to me! After the stupid API changes years ago, I refuse to jump through hoops just to visit Reddit anyways.
