Have you ever tried reading a James Patterson book? They’re barely readable imo.
That and I’m not sure he’s even alive any more. I think it’s a brand name used to help people like you, me, and even MrBeast publish.
I was going to say something like this, and that it’s a perfect pairing to put “unreadable” with “unwatchable.”
I think I remember reading one, enjoying it, then picking up another book he “wrote” because of that. It was so bad I barely got through the first couple chapters. Was very obvious the 2 books were written by different authors

I read a couple of his own books years ago, and they were awful. The only reason I read two was because the first one was so bad, I thought it had to be an outlier. Turns out, No.
The upside of his new plantation publishing strategy, is that perhaps his writing slaves are better writers than he is. I wouldn’t know, I don’t care enough to bother to find out.
Turns out he is still alive and still a terrible writer, doing promos with Mr sociopath for the “book”
James Patterson is a hack. Now he has other hacks write the books, and slaps his name above theirs. The most disgusting literary development in history.
