I’m looking for the man that shot my paw.
Or the punchline may actually be, “oh it was a dog!”

Believe it or not, having a Tesla (bought in 2018) completely fixed this for me. I don’t get NEARLY as mad when someone is driving faster or in the left lane slowly. My car keeps distance and speed really well. It’s not aggravating to keep stepping on the breaks anymore. Any adaptive cruise will do this just fine.

My understanding is that if you knew a search was going to happen, it’s illegal. But good luck proving that you knew it would happen.

I use skiplagged all the time, but don’t book through their site. They add fees onto the tickets now. Just book through the airline directly.

Exactly. The youngest millennial is 30 right now. The oldest is 45. They are ripe teenager parent ages from 35-45.

For some reason when I click that picture, it opens a browser tab of the image’s website. I can’t just preview it in my client. And the image site loads so slowly.
It says “but for fucks sake” in the angry version though.

I’m from Seattle so that’s not even a crazy cocktail cost. And I think you need a six figure income to survive in NYC.

I do not like NYC “dress code”. I went to a cocktail bar and they asked me to keep my jacket on because I had a t shirt. The cocktails were only $15-17. Not even fancy! Is my money worth less that I’m wearing jeans or a tshirt?
This is why I love Seattle. Everywhere allows tshirts and jeans no matter how fancy. I’m comfy and spending money.
I was too far into lemmy/scrolling, but not like any TikTok/facebook/etc. I think I just got dopamine burnout. One o got antidepressants, it was so much better for my mental health.
There’s a reason furry cons are known to have huge parties. Just a bunch of nerds that want to have some fun! Plus furries do have a good bit of money. Those suits ain’t cheap!

The driver had the accelerator pressed all the way down. You can do this, but the screen says “autopilot will not brake” and lets you go all the way to 90 MPH. So this is 100% the driver’s fault.

Kinda funny that we’re looking at this on lemmy, 90% of us are on our phones browsing while doing random things.
It looks cool, but smartphones, good or bad, fill the void of riding the bus, waiting 5 mins for your next meeting, waiting for your partner to get ready in “5 more minutes”. I’m ADHD and this helps me just unwind.
I know it’s not for everyone, but it’s silly that this is being pitched as revolutionary.

So true. It also foams about the same as regular milk so it’s perfect in lattes. It’s perfect for baking too at the easiest 1:1 ratio. It also stays good for longer than regular milk. The only negative is that it’s more expensive, but I think of it as an upgrade.

I use this app called Transit. Same data, but if any data is missing, it’s crowdsourced by people on the bus using the app.

I hate the kiosks BECAUSE they removed a key feature that the POS can do: substitution at no cost. If you order a McGriddle, sausage egg and cheese, at the POS, you say “substitute” whole egg (the white and yolk instead of the folded egg), and it’s the same price. At the kiosk, at least 4 years ago when I last used one, when you want to do this, you need to add the whole egg for a cost, then remove the folded egg at no credit.
At chick fil a, when you remove ingredients on a sandwich, that amount actually gets removed from the cost of the sandwich. Fuck chick fil a’s profit spending, but their ordering system is the best for customers.
Fair enough! I just like having all my “locals” tagged. It’s so fun to see them around. I love the PNW!

I have you tagged as “Seattle” already, so this is our city! She turned onto it south of here where it’s at grade, but this is the Mount Baker station where it is elevated.
It didn’t work for me until I turned off night shift/orange glow and turned up my brightness. It needs to be actually white for the white spots.
