My only loyalty is to brands that have higher quality than the competitors. And that only last as long as they are maintaining their quality or another brand is increasing their quality.


And the better the Steam ecosystem works on Linux, SteamOS and other distros, the bugger chance that gamers are moving to Linux and that developers are adding support for Linux. Which makes Steam less dependent on Microsoft/Windows.

I have much more than 20 packages in aur, most of them are dependencies from steam-native-runtime. Since steam is popular, I can understand that many have more than 20 packages.
Now when I was reading the ArchWiki I saw that it is mentioned as an alternative, so I assume I can remove steam-native-runtime and all dependencies.
