One, someone is taking a photo of someone taking a photo

Two, he’s done some trick photography so he can play both people in the photo

Speaking as a therapist, with a developed sense of empathy, and humor so dark the American police would shoot it, I think it’s possible to sustain both through awareness and choice

Also self employed. Got plenty of work lined up, savings, pension, cheap mortgage.

Each year looks a little better than the last one.

I think part of the reason it seems everyone is struggling is because of two reasons.

One, lots of people are struggling. Two, no one wants to hear from the few who aren’t.

The environmental impacts are real and substantial, though still on the same scale as video streaming which didn’t get the same reaction, so that’s not the whole story.

And both are dwarfed by the meat industry. Be fair to become vegetarian and continue using AI a bit.

Well, geology will take care of some of that over the next few million years.

In the meantime, the debate over whether it should be part of the UK will continue in a much shorter timescale.

I just had AI rewrite two pages of text from 1st person to 3rd person to use in different marketing material.

I had AI reformat text I’d pulled from a PDF that had weird line breaks.

In both cases, it wasn’t doing any “writing” but the end result was AI assisted.

Its a glorified spellchecker, treat it like one.

Maybe they were too busy on their phones to answer the survey

Its not possible for one person to say whether a joke is funny or whether people should find it funny.

The point is you’re spending time making pedantic comments calling someone else pedantic.

At a certain point continuing to argue doesn’t convince, it confuses or confounds and undermines the intent.
