Have you seen the booking.com ads? They’re literally about people in crappy desk jobs dreaming about going to some beautiful paradise location, and the location is AI generated. Think about it. People are dreaming about going to a fake place in the ad because the actual earth isn’t exciting enough? WTF 😵💫
I don’t think it’s that so much as it’d cost more money for licensing stock video or god forbid getting actual B-roll, so they just get slop for cheap
The one I don’t get is the allergy commercial where the family standing in a house is AI. There’s no reason besides underpaying the actors you actually had onscreen for mere moments.
